It is with great sadness that the family of the late Samuel Williams announce his sudden passing on Sunday, December 3rd, 2006 at his family residence in York Harbour at the age of 65 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 40 years Ruby; two sons: David (Lara) and Jason (Cathy) all of Ontario; one granddaughter Jordan; sisters and brothers: Loretta (Bazil) Luck, Minnesota; Martha Weaver, Minnesota; Rennie (Alice) Williams, Ontario, Hilda Tucker, Ontario, Gower (Leta) Williams, Blaketown, Blanche Budgell, Fox Trap and Guy Williams, Ontario; sisters-in-law: Ena Butler, Ontario, Dora Endicott, Ontario, June (Harold) Osmond, Pilley’s Island, Irene (Ron) Simmonds, York Harbour, Marguerite (Dave) Whyatt, York Harbour and Deloris Childs, York Harbour. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Pearl and George Williams, brother Wallace Williams, brothers-in-law Clyde Childs, Russell Childs, Jim Tucker, Allan Butler and Robert Endicott. The family will be receiving friends from St. James’ Anglican Church, Lark Harbour on Tuesday from the hours of 7-9 PM and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 7th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. James’ Anglican Church Memorial Fund. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
