ALVINA MARGARET SHEPPARD Stephenville Crossing, NL 	 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alvina Sheppard announce her passing on Sunday, November 19th, 2006 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville at the age of 87 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her 6 daughters: Angela (Norbert) Dreaddy, New Brunswick; Sylvia (Daurent) Bouchard, Texas; Gloria (Gary) Howe, Wisconsin; Carolyn (Lance) Hodgson, Ontario; Currina Nash, Texas; Elaine (Edmund) Colicos, Ontario; 8 sons: Bob (Arlene), British Columbia; Bryan (Leslie), Alberta, Ralph, Stephenville Crossing; Dennis (Lolly), British Columbia; Rodney (Suzanne), Alberta, Amby, Ontario; Harvey, Stephenville Crossing, Dean (Karen), Ontario. 29 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, sister Theresa Bennett and brother Raymond Lucas both of Stephenville Crossing. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Cyril, grandson Craig, sisters Mary, Annie, Christina, brothers Joseph, Francis and Ambrose. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Monday from the hours of 7-9 PM and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 22nd at 10:00 AM from the Roman Catholic Church of the Assumption with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
