HELEN PITTMAN (NEE DAVIS) Pollard’s Point, NL March 30th, 1926 – October 25th, 2006 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Helen Pittman announce her passing on Wednesday, October 25th, 2006 at the Tryndall Nursing Home in Ontario at the age of 80 years. She will be sadly missed by her 5 sons and 5 daughters: Eldon (Margaret), Pollard’s Point, Baxter (Evelyn), Willard (Natasha), Darius (Lisa) all of Windsor, Ontario, Jerome (Hazel), Brampton, Ontario, Nadie, Lovette (Calvin) all of Pollard’s Point, Naomi, Cartwright, Labrador, Edith (Alonzo), Pollard’s Point and Jeanette, Fort McMurray, Alberta. 32 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren, brother Darius (Pearl), Hampden, sister Beatrice (William), Pollard’s Point, brother-in-law Francis (Rita), Sops Arm, sisters-in-law: Mary (John), Port Saunders, Marie (Henry), Bay Bulls and Alice, Sops Arm. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Richard, parents Samuel and Mary Ann, sons-in-law Bartholomew and Robert, grandson Kirk and great-grandson Jeffrey. Visitation will be held at the family residence in Pollard’s Point on Saturday ,Sunday and Monday. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 31st at 2:00 PM from St. Michael’s and all Angels Anglican Church, Pollard’s Point with Rev. Mildred Tobin officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot.
