GREENE Hilda (nee Durnford) Port Aux Basques, NL 						 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hilda Greene announce her passing on Thursday, September 28th, 2006 at the Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port Aux Basques at the age of 82 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 61 years Louis Greene, children: Gerald (Nanette) Durnford, Sept Isles, James (Lillian) Greene, Dartmouth, Sarah (Eric) Richards, Port Aux Basques, Eric (Michelle) Greene, Calgary and Tony (Madonna) Greene, Port Aux Basques. Grandchildren: Tracy (Robert) Warren, Dartmouth, Jay (Vanessa) Greene, Ontario, Jason Greene, Yellowknife, Katerina (Ragnar) Olafson, Calgary, Stacy (Dave) Adair, Dartmouth, Bradley Greene, Dartmouth and Mitchell Greene, Calgary, great-grandchildren: Liam, Zackery, Karman and Kyle. Brother Clyde (Lillian) Durnford, Francois, sister Melita (James) Ashford, Halifax, sister-in-law Priscilla Porter, Port Aux Basques. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Sarah Durnford, brother John Durnford, sister-in-law Phyllis Durnford and brother-in-law Gilbert Porter. The family received friends from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques on Friday and Saturday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service was held on Sunday, October 1st at 2:00 PM from St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Fudge officiating. Interment followed at St. James Anglican Cemetery.
