REID REGINALD GORDON CORNER BROOK, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Reginald Reid announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Friday, September 22nd, 2006 at the age of 76 years. Reg was a Past Master and Master Elect of West Gate Lodge # 18, Past Grand High Priest of Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Newfoundland and Labrador, Reigning High Priest of Milley Chapter # 2, member of James Strong Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Springdale; member of Redeemer Conclave # 33, Red Cross of Constantine and Viking Preceptory # 82. He was a member of Mazol Temple of the Mystic Order of the Shrine A.A.O.N.M.S., Past President and Active Treasurer of Corner Brook Shrine Club, as well as member and treasurer of Masonic Hall Co. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Bessie; four children: Tim (Margaret) Shears, St. John`s, John (Valerie Furge) Reid, New Brunswick, Joann (George) Meeks, British Columbia and Colleen (Nelson) Langdon, Corner Brook; three wonderful grandchildren: Eric, Caitlin and Devin; sister: Joyce (Ron) Gallant, Corner Brook; sister-in-law: Peggy Jacobs, Corner Brook and brother-in-law: Bob (Sadie) Shears, Port Aux Basques; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents: Willis and Alma Reid. Friends may visit Fillatre`s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Saturday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 25th at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Church, Park Street. Rev. Dr. Wayne Cole officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mazol Temple, Shriners` Transportation Fund.
