It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jack Hearn announce his passing, with his family at his side, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 21st, 2006 at the age of 77 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Joan; sons: John (Janet), Gerard (Dawn), Robert (Diane), all of Corner Brook; daughters: Eileen (Tom) Moore, Michelle (Sean) Brake, Corner Brook, Margaret (Rick) French, Belleville, ON; brother Ron, Carbonear; step-brothers: Bobby (Martha), Billy (Betty), Gerry (Barb), Eddie Pumphrey; step-sisters: Alice (Brendan) Sullivan, Marg (Will) Butt, Mary (Harry) Sommers, Stella (Fred) Dakins; grandchildren: Joanne, Linda, Shawn, Christopher, Melissa, Hannah, Annette, Jason, Megan, Jamie; great-grandchildren: Adam, Kevin, Zachary, Jessica and Rebecca, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents: Jack and Eileen; step-sister Anna; grand-parents: James & Ellen Hearn and Matthew & Ann George. At Jack’s request, cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasadena. A Memorial Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street, on Sunday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place from Sacred Heart RC Church, Curling on Monday, September 25th at 10:30 a.m., Father Bernard Buckle officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Western Memorial Regional Hospital - Palliative Care Unit or to the charity of one’s choice.
