It is with great sadness that the family of the late D. JOSEPH GALLANT announce his sudden passing on Friday, September 1, 2006 at the age of 69. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 43 years Mary (nee:Quigley); 4 children: Sheila Gallant-Halloran (Bill Halloran), Don Gallant (Donna), Jamie Gallant (Lise Robert), Brad Gallant (Paula); 10 grandchildren: Ciara, Ceili, Danny,Ben, Zachary, Erica, Andrea, Peter, Katie & Sandy; brothers: Roy Gallant, Gerald Gallant (Donna), Phil Gallant (Sharon), George Gallant & Pat Compagnon (Irene); sisters: Linda MacIsaac (Rod), Betty Caines (Paul), Rita Pye (Chris), as well as a large number of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his son Peter Gallant, parents Felix & Monica Gallant, Cecil Compagnon & brother Doug Gallant. The funeral service will be held Monday, September 4th at 10:30 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church, Curling Street Father Don Leonard officiating with cremation to follow. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street Saturday & Sunday during the hours 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
