YOUNG JEREMIAH JOSEPH MATTIS POINT, NL 1943 - 2006 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jerry Young announce his sudden passing on Friday, August 18th, 2006 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville at the age of 62 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his loving wife Oliven, Mattis Point; two sons: Jeremy and wife Gina, Oromocto, NB, and Roby, Toronto, ON; five daughters: Candy and Tony Edmunds, Oromocto, NB, Bride and Jamie Benoit, Stephenville Crossing, Vallie Young and Georgie Legge, Stephenville Crossing, Savanna Young, Mattis Point, and Sylvia and Brent Henson, Fort MacMurray, AB; three brothers: Johnny and Norma Young, Charlie and Verena Young, Mattis Point, Archie Young and Joan Lucas, Stephenville Crossing; two sisters: Geraldine Young, St. John`s and Lucy Young, Shallop Cove; five grandchildren: Sabrina, Brycen, Dawson, Shelby and Sophie; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Ada and Stephen Young. Friends may visit Fillatre`s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 22nd at 11:00 a.m. from the Church of the Assumption, Stephenville Crossing. Fr. Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mattis Point. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
