MARGARET JONES (Nee Kennedy) Curling, NL July 17th, 1927 - March 18th, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Jones announce her passing on Tuesday, March 18th, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 80 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband George Jones, children: Larry (Denise), Wayne (Patricia), Darryl (Trish), Lorraine, Ed (Darlene), Phyllis, Chris (Kelly), Mary (Keith), Peter, Paul (Lisa) and Douglas, daughter-in-law Gloria, 33 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, sister Cathy Chatelet, Florida, step-brther Jim Brake, Curling, special aunt Kitty Whiffin, Corner Brook, sister-in-law Jeannette Kennedy, Norris Point. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son Kevin, infant daughter Sheila, parents Richard and Drucilla Kennedy, brothers John and Anthony. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Saturday and Sunday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, March 24th at 10:30 AM from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Curling with Father Bernard Buckle officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
