LIZZIE ANDREWS Port Aux Basques, NL Passed away peacefully at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Thursday, August 3rd, 2006, Lizzie Andrews, at the age of 95 years. Born in Cape La Hune, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Elizabeth Baggs. She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories her loving sons: Frank (Verna), Port aux Basques, Calvin (Juanita), Gander, Claude (Yordest), Pasadena, George (Gloria), Labrador City; sister Marie Louisbourg, NS; nine grandchildren: Michelle, Michael, Claudette, Celeste, Dwight, Ashley, Cavell, Sarah and Stephen; six great-grandchildren: Andrew, Christopher, Connor, Riley, Xavier and Austin, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends from Extended Care at LeGrow Health Centre. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Andrews (July 1983); sisters: Ethel, Mary Ann, Alice and Irene; brothers: John and Jim. Visitation took place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home on Thursday 7-9 pm and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service was held on Saturday, August 5th at 1:00 pm from St. James Anglican Church with Canon Hugh Fudge officiating. Interment followed at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill.
