Obituary of Doris Mary Sheppard

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Doris Mary Sheppard announce her passing on Dec. 30 2017 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 88 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband George F Sheppard. Her Children: Georgina Sheppard, Christina Sheppard Pike, and Garry G. Sheppard. Grandchildren: Shelly D. Reddy, Freeman Sheppard, and Elliott Sheppard. Sisters: Lorraine Lusier, and Anita Renner. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sons Robert John Sheppard and Larry Thomas Sheppard; parents John and Exelda Goguen; brothers, Henri Goguen, Willie Goguen, Tilman Goguen, Fred Goguen, Leo Goguen; sisters, Lena McGowan and Rita Daley. Friends may visit at Fillatres Funeral Home in Goose Bay on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted on January 3, 2018 from Saint Andrew's Anglican Church with Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating. Special thanks to Dr. Fitzgerald & staff of Labrador Grenfell Health, especially the emergency room staff. Donations in her memory may be made to St. John's Daffodil Place.
