LAWRENCE RITA IVY McIVERS, NL 1920 - 2006 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rita Lawrence announce her passing on Friday, July 14th, 2006 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: two daughters: Theresa (John) Park, Doilie (Benjamin) Burridge; two sons: Larry (Lavern) and Luke (Eunice), all residing in McIvers; 15 grandchildren: Holly Park, Connie Morgan, Lisa Park, Travis Burridge, Tammy Sheppard, Doris Gillies, Vickie Brake, Beverly Smith, Debbie Lovell, Todd Lawrence, Amanda Lovell, Michael Lawrence, Spencer Lawrence, Chester Lawrence and Sterling Lawrence; 29 great grandchildren; one brother: Rodney (Mona) Blanchard, McIvers, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Luke and Lavenia Blanchard, grandson: Randy Park, sisters: Florence (Jim) Park, Delsie (Bill) Park, Violet (Roland) Parsons and Phoebe (Wallace) Lovell; brothers: Herbert (Annie) Blanchard, Russell (Annie) Blanchard and Lawrence (Emma) Blanchard. Visitation will take place from the Epiphany Anglican Church, McIvers, beginning Saturday evening from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, July 17th at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Joan Coles officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
