CORNECT John James Mainland, Port Au Port, NL October 8th, 1932 - June 27th, 2006 	 It is with great sadness that the family of the late John James Cornect announce his passing on Tuesday, June 27th, 2006 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville at the age of 73 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Philomena, 3 daughters: Deborah, Halifax, Denise, Halifax and Della, Stephenville; 2 granddaughters: Geniene, Mainland, Julianne, Stephenville, grandson Drake, Stephenville; 6 brothers: Ronnie (Leona), Clyde, Vincent, William (Mabel) all of Mainland, Leonard, Ottawa; Kevin (Sylvia), Mainland; 2 sisters: Mabel Bungay, Lourdes and Margaret Cornect, Mainland. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents William & Johanna, brother Adolph and sister Delma. Friends may visit St. Ann's Chapel, Mainland on Thursday and Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 1st, 2006 at 10:30 AM with Father Terry Boland. Interment to follow at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
