HARVEY Ralph Andrew April 27, 1917 - June 20, 2006 Royal Navy Veteran WWII Lest We Forget, Lest We Forget It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ralph Harvey announce his passing on Tuesday, June 20th, 2006 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville at the age of 89 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories daughters: Valerie (Larry) Hite, Pennsylvania, USA and Brenda (Jerome) LaFitte, Fox Island River; sons: Rex (Darlene), BC, Andrew (Sandra), Brian (Beverly), both of Boswarlos; sisters: Pearl Doirion, Sudbury, ON, Maizie Noble, Pasadena, Ruby (Johnny) Grimes, Corner Brook, Hazel Jesso, Bay St. George LTC, Violet Whitbourne, Steady Brook, Jessica Bailey, Boswarlos; brothers: Aubrey (Ada) Harvey, ON, Roy Harvey, Bay St. George LTC, Gerard (Olive) Harvey, Boswarlos; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by wife Vera; sons: Yourt and Kevin; parents: Jessica and Walter; sister Vera; brothers: Leslie and Clyde. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 7 West Street, Stephenville Crossing on Thursday 7-9 pm and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place from First United Church, Stephenville on Saturday, June 24th at 2:00 pm. Reverend Larry Noseworthy officiating. Interment will follow at Salem United Cemetery in Boswarlos. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
