CROUCHER Ralph Burnt Islands, NL July 10, 1924 - June 13, 2006 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ralph Croucher (Sr.) announce his passing at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Tuesday, June 13th, 2006 in his 81st year. Ralph was the son of the late Frederick and Dollena Croucher of Burnt Islands. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his wife Alice of 63 years; daughter Evelyn Keeping; sons: Max (Winnifred), Calvin (Beverly), Ralph (Shelia) all of Burnt Islands, Montford, Valleyfield and Tony (Lori), Brampton, ON; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers: Jack (Lucy) and Freeman (Helen); sisters: Mary and Maggie (Percy), as well as a large circle of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by sisters: Martha and Ann; brothers: Max, George, Cyril and son-in-law Austin. Visitation took place at his son's residence, Calvin in Burnt Islands on Thursday and Friday. The funeral service was held on Saturday, June 17th at 2:00 p.m. from St. George's Anglican Church in Burnt Islands with Reverend Abbott officiating. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port aux Basques.
