It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Ryland announce his sudden passing at the family residence in L’Anse au Loup on Tuesday, February 26th, 2008 at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond memories: niece Ella Ryland; great-niece Dalphine (Gaius), Trent and Tasha, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents James Ryland and Sarah Jane Ryland. Visitation took place at the Anglican Church on Tuesday and Wednesday from where the Funeral Service took place on Thursday, February 28th at 2:00 pm with Rev. Norman Cutler officiating. Interment followed in the Anglican Church Cemetery in L’Anse au Loup. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted.
