Agnes Broadbent passed peacefully away on Friday, March 31st, 2006 at the Interfaith Home For Seniors in Corner Brook, she was in her 86th year. Ever remembered, ever loved by her children: Terry, Jane, Paul, Jill and their families, brother Stan Cooper, sisters: Peggy Duffy and Theresa Palmer. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Jack, two sisters and five brothers. The family received friends from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Saturday 7:30 - 9:00 PM and on Sunday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 3rd at 1:30 PM from Most Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Cathedral, Mt. Bernard Avenue with Father Edwin Gale officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Food Bank Network, 634-2655 or to The Humber Literary Council, 634-4888.
