Albert Joseph Finlay Trepassey, NL (Formerly of St. Shot’s, NL and Pasadena, NL ) Passed peacefully away on Thursday, March 6th, 2008 at his family residence after a lengthy illness, Albert Finlay at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Brian (Peggy) Seaward, Pasadena, Pauline (Peter), St. Shot’s, Rosalie, Bolton, ON, Elizabeth (Chris), Etobicoke, ON, Carolann (Claude) Curtis, Trepassey, Thomas, Toronto, Theresa (Pete), Barrie, ON, and Helen (Orlando), Downsview, ON; grandsons: Brian (Carla), Adrian (Shelley), Byron, Cordell, Cory, CJ, James, Jason, James and Justin; granddaughters: Michelle, Helen (Rob), Kendra, Glennis (Kevin), Candace, Kayla, Ashley, Bryanna and Kristen; special great-grandchildren: Lucas, Andrew, Kerissa, Sierra, Alexa, Sammy, Brandon and Cassandra; brothers: William (Muriel), Trepassey and Gerald (Lillian), St. David’s; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan; two sons: Andrew and Albert Jr.; four brothers: Thomas, Joseph, Vince and Val; sister: Theresa; parents: Thomas and Maude. Visitation will be take place from Holy Rosary Parish, Pasadena on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. from where the Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 10th at 10:30 a.m., Father Gordon Grace officiating. Interment to follow at the old Roman Catholic cemetery, Pasadena.
