The beautiful, intelligent, funny and much-loved Ruth Newhook Crosbie very reluctantly died on Sunday, March 26th, 2006 at the age of 81. Left behind to make their own gardens are her children: Robert Crosbie, Lin Crosbie-Marshall (Tom), Jeffery Crosbie (Jennifer) and Gregg Crosbie (Patti). She will be sadly missed by her brothers Bert, Bill, David, Donald and Dr. Lawrence Newhook; her sister: Cora Newhook Leslie; her grandchildren: Renny, Sheldon, Kami, Seth, Rebecca, Heidi, Sarah, Lauren, Geordin; her great grandchildren: Gabriel, McKenna, and Sebastian; as well as a number of nieces, nephew and friends. At her request, there will be no funeral. Friends may gather at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday, March 27th from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. Donations in her memory will be gratefully accepted by the Western Memorial Hospital Foundation or those who wish to do so, may bring one single flower of choice to her visitation.
