HUGHES WILFRED JOHN New Ferolle, NL February 25th, 1934 - February 25th, 2008 							 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wilfred John Hughes announce his passing on Monday, February 25th, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on his 76th birthday. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Hazel (nee Sinnicks); children: Margaret (Garry) House, Lawrence (Karen) Hughes, Semonne Hughes, Hazareth (Fred) Tucker, Rhona Hughes and Victor Hughes; grandchildren: Jamie, Owen, Samantha, Adam, Pamela, Dylan, Andrew, Jenna, Trevor, Alison and Amber; brother Joseph (Edith) Hughes, special friend Greta House, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Josephine, mother Mary Anne and father Roland. Visitation will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church in New Ferolle on Tuesday and Wednesday from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 28th at 2:00 PM with Father Roger officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
