I truly miss You Dad. In two days it will be 18 years since God has called You home. You are with your parents and Daughter Bernice and also your Grandson Darren.
I treasure and cherish all of our memories we shared together. Dad you were very strong in battling cancer five different times. It took you in the end. But it hasn't never stop our family of the precious memories.
I miss you so much, I miss our chats on the phone where you called me every day. I will forever remember when we lived in Spotted Island and Black Tickle Labrador. Spotted Island was your hometown. We worked together in Fish plants and tried Cod fishing together.
Went to Cartwright from Black Tickle on skidoo. When I was 12 years old we went to Spotted Island on your 32 foot boat and worked together collecting salmon for the Company H.B. Dawe Ltd. In Indian Tickle and Sandy Hill River. Then we worked in the Fish Plant in Black Tickle, followed by working in Davis Inlet and followed by working again in The Black Tickle fish plant.
I was a labourer and a weigh master. While Dad was the Foreman.
In my eyes Dad we all have good and bad characteristics about us. I choose to treasure your good characteristics.
I miss You Dad lots and lots and I always will. Love you lots and lots Dad from your son Sonny. Until we meet again Dad Rest Peacefully in Heaven
