<p><span>Passed away suddenly at the Calder Health Care Center in Burgeo on Thursday November 16, 2017, Debbie Courtney in her 55th year. Leaving to mourn with loving memories&nbsp;husband Larry, son Roland (Keshia), son George, grandson Lance, father Joshua Thornhill, brother Hurbert; sisters Sylvia, Josephine ,<span>&nbsp; </span>Rita and mother-in-law Kathleen Courtney, as well as a large circle of family and friends. Debbie was predeceased by mother Lucy Thornhill, father-in-law Gerald Courtney, grandparents Ruben and Deborah Thornhill, George and Emaline Mavin, Aunt Rita Mavin, Aunt Emma Hiller and Uncle Claude Mavin.<span>&nbsp; </span>Visitation will take place from St. Simon and St. Jude Church in Francois, tentatively on Sunday from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 21<sup>st</sup> at 2:00 p.m with Reverend Elsie Rose officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery.</span></p>
