Obituary of Cecil Alexander
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cecil Alexander announce his passing on Sunday, September 26, 2004 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 51 years, Ramona, son, Jerry (Bonnie) Alexander, daughter, Shirley( Bernard) Walsh, grandchildren, Jarrod, Sarah-Jayne, Dana and Monique, all of Saint John, NB, brothers, Hilory (Maureen) and Aloysius (Olive), Stephenville Crossing, sisters, Bertha (Richard)Johnson, Whitbourne and Genevieve McIntyre, Young's Cove, NB, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son Claud Stephen Alexander. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing Monday from 7-9 p.m, and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 29th, at 2:00 p.m. from the Church of the Assumption, Stephenville Crossing with Father Gerard Patry officiating,, with cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy,flowers graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
