<p><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span lang="EN">Passed away peacefully, Freeman Piccott, at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL, on October 31, 2017 at the age of 81 years. He will be forever remembered and loved by his loving wife Isabel (Abbott); children: Sharon (Don), Chris (Maxine), Dianne, Charmaine (Ryan); grandchildren: Jeremy, Jessica, Evan, Grant, Tracy, Brendan, Landon, Skylar; great-grandchildren: William, Cian; brothers: Arthur (Sophie), George (Nicole), Roy (Sharon); sister Jane (John) Pieroway as well as many nieces, nephews other family and friends. He was pre-deceased by his parents Harriet and James Piccott; brothers Bronzan and Robert. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital for the compassion and care they provided Freeman. Visitation will take place at the United Church in Heatherton, NL on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 7 - 9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bruce Rideout officiating. Inurnment in the United Church Cemetery, Heatherton, NL will take place following the service. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Parkinson Society or a charity of ones’ choice.
