APRIL 1, 1917 - FEBRUARY 17, 2008
It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Edward Curran announce his passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing on Sunday, February 17, 2008 in his 91st year. Edward was a Royal Navy Veteran and served overseas during the second world war. He is survived by his son Andy, two step-daughters June and Marguerite, seven grandchildren, special friends Thomas and Marion Cutler and a large number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Sarah White, parents Thomas and Delia, brother Gus and sisters Margaret and Stella. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 18th from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s from where the funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Courthouse Road, St. George’s. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 38, St. George’s or a charity of ones choice.
