<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Claudius Baikie announce his passing on October 15, 2017 at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay at the age of 78 years.&nbsp; He leaves to mourn his brother, John Baikie, HVGB, sister, Marina Algeo, HVGB and Joan Erickson (Fred) of Anchorage, AK; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.&nbsp; He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Eva Baikie (nee Shiwak), sister, Lorna Doherty, brother-in-law, Sam Algeo and neice Celeste Thomson (nee Algeo).&nbsp;Visitation will take place on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 7-9 pm at Fillatre's Funeral Home.&nbsp; Funeral will be conducted from the Moravian Church in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Saturday, October 21 with Rev. Beatrice Hope officiating.&nbsp; Donations in Claudius' memory made be made to the Friendship Centre.</p>
