<p>Lucy Piwas, age 73 years, passed away at the Long Term Care Facility in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on September 27,2017. She will be missed by her children Simon Pokue, Bernadette Nui,Tommy Piwas, Rita Rich and Maryann Basto; brother, Fortunate Piwas; sisters, Marionetta Benuen and Penash Rich as well as other relatives and friends.&nbsp; She was predeceased by her parents, Charlie and Penash Pokue, her husband, Francis Piwas, her son, Jack and her daughter Jean-Marie.&nbsp; Funeral service will be held on September 29,2017 fromthe Roman Catholic Church in Natuashish with Father Anthony officiating and interment to follow at the Catholic Cemetery in Natuashish.</p>
