George Albert Wareham 1937 - 2008 Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Wareham announce his passing on Tuesday, February 12th, 2008 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital surrounded by his family at the age of 70 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife and best friend, Audrey (nee MacDonald); five children: Deborah (Thomas) Caines, Eileen O’Brien, Kim Jesso, George Jr. and Donald (Tammy); grandchildren: Thomas Jr. (Lisa) Caines, Michael (Heather) Caines, Jonathan Caines, Sean (Jennifer) O’Brien, Krista (Scott) Brumsey, Jacob, Dianne and Michael O’Brien, Stephanie and Stephen Wheeler, Brady, Riley and Keegan Wareham, Ashley and Madison Wareham; six great grandchildren: Cody, Cameron, Kayel, Matthew, William and Sara; brother: Lloyd (Gaye) Wareham; sisters: Dorothy Pike, Lorraine (Cyril) Dowden, Ruby McGinn (Bob), Louise Strickland and Audrey Wareham; brothers-in-law: Kevin (Shirley) MacDonald and William (Linda) MacDonald; sister-in-law: Daffodil Wareham; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by infant daughter: Diane Wareham; parents: John and Lillian Wareham; brother: Don; sisters: Jean Pike and Marjorie Pike; mother and father-in-law: William and Beatrice MacDonald; son-in-law: Sean O’Brien Sr. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Wednesday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 15th at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Temple, O’Connell Drive. Majors Ron and Joyce Stuckless officiating, assisted by Father Don Leonard. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Luke’s Unit of the Interfaith Home.
