She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Gerald; brother Burt Porter; brothers-in-law: Ray (Eileen), Ralph (Jane) and Tony (Liz); sisters-in-law: Margaret Joy, Judy (Kevin) Veitch, Patsy (Derek) Hollett and Peggy Welsh (Lloyd McCarthy); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Lemuel and Annie Porter, sister and brothers Minnie and Willie Porter, Bessie Porter-White, George, Cyril, Marjorie, Lemuel and Walter Porter. parents-in-law Donald and Dorothy Crewe, brothers-in-law Melvin, Roy and James Crewe. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Humber Valley United Church in Pasadena on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Andrew Wright officiating. Interment will follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to a charity of one’s choice.
