<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mark Best announce his passing on August 13, 2017 at Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador at the age of 88 years.&nbsp; Leaving to mourn his children, Ruby (John), Barry, Karen (Tim), Judy (Kerry), Perry (Karen), Terry, Peggie (John) and Garry (Jackie); grandchildren, Morgan, Barry Jr., Jeremy, Christopher, Tara, Craig, Corey, Trevor, Vanessa, Adam and Ryan; 10 great-grandchildren; his brother, Joe; his sister, Marion (Broomfield) and a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.&nbsp; He was predeceased by his parents, Mark and Mary Best; brothers, Gus, Eugene and Robert; sisters, Stella, Sue and Mary; and step-brother, Ewart.&nbsp; Private family visitation only.&nbsp; Funeral will be conducted at 1 pm on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from the Mud Lake United Church with Rev. Benjamin Adekunle officiating.&nbsp; Interment to follow at the Mud Lake Cemetery.&nbsp;&nbsp; As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mud Lake United Church in his memory.&nbsp; Special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Long Term Care facility in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
