Marie Reeves (Nee Talbot) Deer Lake, NL Jan 27, 1925 - Feb 2, 2008 Passed peacefully away at the Deer Lake Manor on Saturday, February 2nd, 2008 at the age of 83 years, Marie Reeves. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her two sons: John Reeves (Holly) of Englee and George O’Reilly (Jean) of Bowmanville, Ontario; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Stanislaus Reeves. Visitation took place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Monday. The Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, February 5th at 2:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Deer Lake with Fr. Aiden Devine officiating. Interment followed at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Roman Catholic Church in Deer Lake or to the Gideon Bible Fund. Marie was a very special lady who spent numerous hours with her prayer beads and saying prayers for her loved ones and friends. She was a small woman with a big heart. She will be sadly missed by all. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Deer Lake.
