<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shirley Leggo announce her passing on Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 78 years. Shirley believed in a simple life spending countless days outdoors fishing, gardening, hunting and berry picking. Her passion for nature will forever be missed. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 61 years Robert Leggo; children: Gordon Leggo, Ruth (Harvey) Martin, Ada (Kent) Hunter, Howard (Sharon) Leggo and Scott Leggo; grandchildren: Robert, Melissa, Michelle, Evan, Justin, Amy, Miranda and Matthew and a number of great-grandchildren; brothers: Max Russell, Eugene (Georgie) Russell and Samuel "Junior" (Helen) Russell; sister Elaine (Ed) Bannister; sisters-in-law: Nora Russell and Dianne (Terry) Wells; brothers-in-law: John (Sheila) Leggo and Gerald Leggo; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Mary and Chesley Russell, sister Edna (Jack) Fitch, brother Leonard Russell, sisters-in-law Madge Russell and Mildred Lundrigan, brothers-in-law Kevin and Raymond Leggo. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Friday, June 9 from the hours of 11:00 a.m. -&nbsp; </span><span style="font-size: medium;">2:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. from Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Marlaine Leggo officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
