It is with great sadness that the family of the late Chesley S. Pilgrim of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, formerly of Main Brook, announce his passing on Saturday, February 4th, 2006 at the Labrador Health Centre H.V.G.B. at the age of 70 years. He will be sadly missed by his sons: Stephen (Erica), Alfred (Jay Roberts) both of Main Brook; daughters: Joanne (Rick Listone) N.S., Ella (Clifford Dobbin) Port au Choix; 12 grandchildren; 6 brothers; 5 sisters, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by partner Marjorie Heard; son Thomas; parents Howard and Ella Pilgrim and brother Scott Pilgrim. Friends visited Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Saturday, February 5th from 7-9 p.m. A visitation was also held on Wednesday from the Pentecostal Church in Main Brook, from where the funeral service was held Thursday, February 9th at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Main Brook. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
