Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the Western Memorial Hospital, John William Stone at the age of 74. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years Ruby (nee: Payne), 3 children: Glenn (Gloria), Byron (Denise), Glenda (Steve); grandchildren: Tanya, Ashley, Jessica, Vanessa, Nathan; great granddaughter Lillian; brothers: George (Edith), Edward (Barbara), sister Geraldine Percey; sisters-in-law Chris Stone & Ivy Stone as well as a large number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Edward & Sadie Stone, sister Mildred French (Ray), brothers Harold & Cyril, brother in law Clyde Percey. The funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Curling Street on Friday, February 8th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend John Hounsell-Drover officiating followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home 218 Curling Street Wednesday & Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Memorial Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society.
