Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 53 years, Margaret (nee Plowman), son Brian (Emmaline and her daughter Tanasha), step-mother Joan Curtis; brothers and sisters-in-law: Whilomeina (Romeo) Caines, Dave (Debbie), Roy (Marilyn), Melvin (Kim), Wilson (Bernadette), Dorothy Humber and Ivan; special niece Mary (Derek) Hickey, special grandson George Hickey; Uncle Dave Curtis as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Rita Curtis, infant daughter, parents-in-law James and Alfreda Plowman; brothers-in-law Garfield and Garland Plowman and Cyril Humber; sisters-in-law Alice (Cecil) Critchley and Marie Plowman. Granting his wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Saturday evening from 7-9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 27<sup>th</sup> at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, Curling with<span>  </span>Reverend David Taylor and Arch Deacon Ed King officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary’s Memorial Fund or to Lion Max Simms Memorial Camp.
