<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lloyd Curtis announce his sudden passing on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in his 68</span><sup><span style="font-size: small;">th</span></sup><span style="font-size: medium;"> year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 42 years Diane (nee Smith); son Marc (Sherry), St. John&rsquo;s; daughter Melanie (Damien), Sop&rsquo;s Arm; grandchildren: Jamie, Landen, Zander, Wyatt and Waylon; his old buddy Jake; sister Barbara (Jim); father-in-law Hedley (Beulah); brothers and sisters-in-law: Alan (Christine), Wayne (Katie), Linda, David, Susan (Jerome), Karen (Eric)</span><span style="font-size: medium;">&nbsp; </span><span style="font-size: medium;">and Sharon; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, many&nbsp;friends, former student and colleagues. He was predeceased by his parents Edmund and Belle Curtis and mother-in-law Florence Smith. As per Lloyd&rsquo;s wishes cremation has taken place. There will be an open house at his residence in Jackson&rsquo;s Arm on Tuesday, March 21 from the hours of 10:00 a.m. - </span><span style="font-size: medium;">&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: medium;">4:00 p.m. All are welcome. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the SPCA.
