He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Sarah Alice (nee Fiander); step-daughter Trudy (Keith) Hardinman, Calgary; 2 step-granddaughter and 1 step-grandson; brother-in-law Reg Bowering, St. John’s; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Alexander and Beulah Bishop, brother Fred (Margaret) Bishop and sister Mildred Bowering. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service and burial will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
