<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elsa Mary Carpenter announce her passing on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in her 92</span><sup><span style="font-family: Calibri;">nd</span></sup><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> year. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories her children: David with whom she resided and Susan (Keith) Rowsell, Pasadena; her grandchildren who she loved dearly Michael Rowsell, Pasadena and Heather Rowsell (Steven Gould), Pasadena; her great-grandchildren who were the light of her life Haley Rowsell, Lilly Rowsell and Mason Gould; her special furry friend Teddy; her brother George Dingwell, Corner Brook; her brother-in-law Len Holloway, Corner Brook and sister-in-law Lily Dingwell, St. John&rsquo;s; as well as many nieces and nephews who thought the world of her as she did them; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Henry "Ned" Carpenter, parents Mary and Wesley Dingwell, brothers and sisters Ray Dingwell, Lottie (Reg) Rigs, Bruce (Phyllis) Dingwell, Norma Lowe, Rosalie Holloway, Neil Dingwell and Christina "Teen" (Tom) Sweetapple, sister-in-law Joyce Dingwell. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Sunday from the hours of 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints&rsquo; Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Tanya officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Bay of Islands SPCA.
