<p><span><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;">Passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook, Betty Frances Clothier in her 72nd year with her family by her side. Left behind with fond and loving memories: her loving husband Gilbert of 54 years; daughters Jane (Bill), Lavenia (Chris), Ruby (Leonard) and Peggy (Arthur); sons, Angus (Cindy), Robert (Darlene), Corey (Karen) and Paul (Krista);</span><span><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;">&nbsp; </span></span><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;">Grandchildren: Debbie, Corey, Shane, Kayla, Shannon, Gavin, Jenna, Kiana and Andrew; Great Granddaughter: Briea; Brother:Archie; Sisters: Annie Candow, Edith Spencer and Susie Meade, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her loving parents: John R. Porter and Lavina (Violet) and stepfather John L. Clothier; </span><span><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;">Brothers: Harvey, John and Jim; Sisters: Mary Ellen Macdonald, Bernice Anderson and Alice Hann. Resting at St. John the Evangelist Church in Burgeo,</span></span><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;"> on </span><span><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;">Tuesday January 10 from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm</span></span><span><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;">from where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday. January 11</span><sup><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;">th</span></sup><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;"> at 2pm with Rev. Elsie Rose officiating. Interment will follow at Burgeo Community Cemetery.&nbsp;Special thanks to the staff at the dialysis unit and ICU at WMRH in Corner Brook and doctors and staff at Calder Health Care Center in Burgeo. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetes or Heart and Stroke Foundation.</span></span></span></p>
