It is with great sadness that the family of the late Emma Doris Maynard announce her passing on Saturday, January 14th, 2006 at Rufus Guinachard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 77 years. She leaves to mourn her husband Wallace, sons: Dion (Cindy) Mudge, Fort McMurray, Keith (Cavel) Mudge, St. Albert, Alberta; step sons: Tom (Gracie), Paradise, Bill (Janice) Hawkes Bay; step daughter: Evelyn, Englee; grandchildren: Candace Mudge, Shane Mudge, Darrin Mudge, David Mudge; great grandchildren: Michael, Christopher, Venissa, Chantell,; sisters: Alva Hutchings, Cow Head, Oppel Payne, Almeda Thornhill, Parsons Pond and Alma (Eric) House, Hawkes Bay; brother: Donald (Phyllis) Verge, Parsons Pond, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Chantell; step-grandsons: BJ and Steven Maynard; parents Enos and Margaret Verge; brothers-in-law: Stedman Hutchings, Arthur Payne and Samuel Thornhill. The family will be receiving friends at Bethel Pentecostal Church, Hawkes Bay, Sunday, 3-4:00 p.m. and 7-9:00 p.m., Monday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m., on Tuesday visitation will take place from the Anglican Church in Parsons Pond from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 18th, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. T. White and Pastor W. Baker officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation or to the charity of ones choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port Au Choix. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
