<p>Passed away peacefully at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Center with her loving family surround by her side on Friday, November 25, 2016, Dulcie "Dot" Gillam at the age of 89. Born in Grand Bay, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Julia (nee Kettle) Pearce. Dulcie will be sadly missed and forever loved by her children, Elaine (Eric) Chaulk, Linda (Emanuel) Lawrence, Isaac (Joyce), Geraldine (William) Fudge, Sandra (Roger) Osmond, Donna (Don) Payne, David (Mary), Roxanne (Melvin), 25 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren and 9 great greatgrandchildren, sister, Dorcas Willingham, sister-in-law, Gertrude Gillam, as well a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, George Gillam, son Roland, grandson, Paul Gillam, brothers, Ray Pearce and Llewellyn Kettle and sister, Ada Buttery The family will be receiving family and friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Port-aux-Basques on Saturday, November 26,  from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, November 27 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  The funeral service will take place on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., at St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill.
