<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hannah "Blanche" Gear announce her passing on November 16, 2016 at the Long Term Care Facility in Happy Valley-Goose Bay at the age of 81 years.  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">She will be sadly missed by her children; Barbara (Bernie) Crawford, Ann (Brian) Parsons, Jim (Karen) Gear, Darlene Gear-White (Yvon), Greg (Alice) Gear, Carol Thornhill, Lorna (Derek) Russell, Tom (Roxanne) Gear, Susan Gear, and Emily (Richard) Sheppard.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Brothers Ivan, Jordon and Fred; sisters, Geraldine Goudie, Marcela Murphy and Gloria Hope; 26 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">She was predeceased by her husband, Chesley Gear; son, John Gear; sisters, Josephine Hope and Judy King; her parents, Laurie and Jensen Hope.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home on November 17, 2016 from the hours of 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">The funeral service will be held on November 18, 2016 from the St Andrew’s Anglican Church with Archdeacon Nellie Thomas officiating with interment to follow at the Moravian Cemetery.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Anglican Parish or the Long Term Care Facility.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Flowers are accepted.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Special thanks to the staff of Labrador Grenfell Health Centre, Long Term Care Facility and Nunatsiavut Home Care.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">    </span><span style="font-size: medium;">To sign the family guestbook, you may visit our website at www.fillatre.ca</span></span></p>
