<p align="center"><strong>David Richard Gosse</strong></p> <p align="center"><strong>December 26, 1930 – October 3, 2016</strong></p> <p align="center"><strong> </strong></p> <p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late David Gosse announce his peaceful passing on Monday, October 3rd, 2016 at Mountain View Retirement Home in Corner Brook at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Shirley; children Gretta (Foss Kendall), Joseph Gosse (Anne), Margie (Bill Loughlin), Janet (Larry Parsons) and David Gosse; grandchildren: Trent, Brent, Kent, James, Terry, Colleen, Emily, Laura, Erin and Max; great grandchildren: Cody, Kyla, Desmond, Allie, Rose and Keria; sisters Bridie, Patricia and Helen; special friends Linda and Greg Spencer-Schroh, who were pillars of support for Dad. He was predeceased by his parents Mary and Charles Gosse; sister Marie and brother Bernard. Much appreciation to the staff of Mountain View Retirement Home who went above and beyond, as well to new friends made throughout the duration of Dad’s stay. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. Cremation to take place on Thursday followed by the funeral service on Friday, October 7<sup>th</sup>, at 10:00 AM from First United Church, Park Street, Reverend Harry Whitehorne officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
