<p><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span lang="EN">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Edward Legge announce his passing on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 80 years. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 53 years Thelma; two sons: Brian (Clover), Kerry (Tracy); two granddaughters: Keely and Allora. He was predeceased by his parents Wilson and Minetta Legge; siblings: Georgina, Charles, Beatrice and Ada. He is survived by brothers: Chesley, George; sisters: Grace, Jane as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and life long friends many of which he made while working with Western Construction from which he retired after 42 years of dedicated service. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital. Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 7 - 9 p.m. at St. George’s Anglican Church, Robinson’s, NL from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ruby Carter officiating. Inurnment will follow the service in the Anglican Cemetery, Robinson’s, NL. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. George’s Anglican Church Memorial Fund. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.</span></span></p>
