<p><strong>Mercer</strong></p> <p><strong>George Vayden</strong></p> <p><strong>Corner Brook, NL</strong></p> <p><strong>September 22, 1957 – August 22, 2016</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late <strong>George Mercer</strong> announce his passing Monday, August 22, 2016 at Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 58 years, after a 16 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. George faced his battle with courage and dignity. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his partner Deanna; his cat Sox; parents: Gerald and Margaret Mercer; sisters: Sharon (Danny) Grant, and Barbara (Randy) Copan; brother: Keith (Patricia); nieces: Danielle and Hayley; nephews: Brandon and Travis, and a large circle of family, friends, and caregivers. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday, August 25<sup>th</sup> from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service with take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel on Friday, August 26<sup>th</sup> at 10:30 am with Reverend Jocelyn Cook officiating.
