<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Blake Sr. announce his sudden passing on Sunday, August 14</span><sup><span style="font-size: small;">th</span></sup><span style="font-size: medium;">, 2016 in North West River, at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his sons, Tommy and Edward Jr.; parents Sidney and Alfreda; brother, Corbett and sisters, Margaret and Elaine.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Leaving to mourn with loving memories are his wife of 67 years, Kathleen, his best friend Rover, &nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: medium;">his five children: Judy (Dougald), Douglas (Lena), Patsy (Doug), Martha (Bill), Henry (Gertie) and daughter in law, Marilyn; his sisters Daphne and Bernice (Daryl), brothers Ted (Lorraine), Ernie (Merle), brother in law, Reg and sister in law, Olive.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">He was the beloved Grandfather to 16 Grandchildren: Gordon, Edward, Heidi, Brian, Robin, Valerie, Martin, Jamie, Christopher, Rory, Teri Ann, Danny, Maria, Jordon, Katherine and Mark; and 12 Great-Grandchildren: Sydney, Stephanie-Jane, Nicholas, Conlan, Ethan, Ryder, Zachary, Amber, Ben, Chaiden, Callie, and Conner.&nbsp; </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Also included are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">As expression of sympathy, donations to the North West River United Church will be graciously accepted.&nbsp; </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 19th, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the North West River United Church.&nbsp; Interment to follow at the church cemetary.&nbsp; Friends can visit the family at the Community Center following interment.</span></span></p>
