<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Marguerite K. Menne announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL on Tuesday, August 9, 2016. 　</p> <p>Her beautiful life will be cherished and celebrated by her children: Stephen (Martina Marche), Sharon (Keith Bonnell), Jeffrey (Betty), Heidi (Bill Hynes); precious grandchildren and step-grandchildren and their families, as well as close relatives and friends. She was pre-deceased by her parents: Arthur & Lucy Stratton; husband Frank Menne; brothers: Belah (Joyce) Stratton, William (Ina) Stratton and brother-in-law Hans (Elisabeth) Menne.</p> <p>Our mom was a long time resident of Stephenville and a passionate Newfoundlander. She appreciated the simplicity and glory of nature, dearly loved her verdant garden and was thankful for "this beautiful world, beautiful people and beautiful family."</p> <p>Visitation will take place on Friday, August 12, 2016 at the First United Church, St. Clare Ave., Stephenville from 7 - 9 p.m. and continue on with the funeral service on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kathryn Vance officiating.</p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial;">As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation or the First United Church Memorial Fund. </span><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span lang="EN"> Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.</span></span></p>
