<p><span style="font-size: medium;">It is with great sadness that&nbsp;the family of the late&nbsp; Stanley Anderson annouce his passing&nbsp;on Monday, August 8th, 2016,&nbsp;surrounded by his loving family,&nbsp;at the Calder Health Care Center in Burgeo. He was 70 years old. &nbsp;He leaves to mourn his wife Mary, of 48 years; two sons, Dean (Valerie), and John (Laura-Lee);one daughter, Betty (Jack); five grand children, Bethaney, Vanessa (Mike), Sebastian, Sarah, and Julian; one Great Grandson, Jaxon.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span><span style="font-size: medium;">Also leaving to mourn three brothers;Freeman (Brenda), Richard (Eileen), John, and five sisters; Hilda (George), Anne (Fred), Alma (Albert), Louise (Calvin), Linda (Douglas), and sister in law, Edith Anderson,&nbsp; as well as a large circle of &nbsp;other family,&nbsp;nephews and nieces, and friends.&nbsp;</span></span></p>
<p><span><span style="font-size: medium;">He was predeceased by his sister, Minnie Sylvia, Parents, Jacob Eli &amp;&nbsp;Mabel Josephine, and brother, Albert Anderson.&nbsp;</span></span></p>
<p><span><span style="font-size: medium;">The family wishes to extend heartfelt THANK YOU to the staff at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, Dr. Scott Mackenzie, and support staff for the wonderful care and compassion shown to him and Mary while he was a patient there from May 1, 2016-July22, 2016. We would also&nbsp;like to take this opportunity to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Dr. Sarah Roxin , Nursing staff, and support staff at Calder Health Care Center in Burgeo, where he was a patient in Palliative Care from July 22, 2016-August 8th, 2016. Your care,compassion and friendship will never be forgotten, and forever appreciated.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Family will receive visitors at St. John the Evangelist Church in Burgeo on Friday August 12, 2016 at 2-4, and 7-9. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, August 13th, 2016, at 2:00 p.m.&nbsp;with Reverend David Taylor&nbsp;officiating.</span></p>
