<p>It is with heavy hearts that we the family of the late Cora Haines(Prudie) announce her peaceful passing at the age of 84 years with family at her side at Protem Special Care Home. She slipped into the arms of her Lord and Saviour after a courageous fight to let us know how much she loved us and how proud she was that we were there with her. Leaving behind her legacy of love are her six children: Linda (Gerard) Peters, Deer Lake, Christine Harding, Oshawa, ON Glenn (Merlyn), Edmonton, AB, Ivy (Claude) Cullihall, Westlock, AB, Marlane Hampton(Ed), Fenlon Falls, ON and Lori(Wayne) Feltham, Moncton, NB; 12 Grandchildren, 22 Great-grandchildren, 5 Great-great-grandchildren as well as others that looked up to her as Nan. Brother Woodrow (Peggy) Chaulk, Sister Etta (Bernie) Meisner, Sisters-in-law: Muriel, Marylou and Shirley Chaulk as well as Eva and Jean Haines. Many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mom was predeceased by her parents, Lemual and Irma Chaulk, Husband Raymond, Great-granddaughter Kerri, sons-in-law Charlie Harding and Gary Hampton, six brothers and three sisters. Thank you to everyone for your prayers, messages, phone calls and visits. Protem staff were amazing, so full of compassion and love for Mom. Dr. Li provided spiritual, medical and compassion for all of us. Majors Leigh and Vida Ryan, Cadets Jeff and Dawn Butt also Majors Wayne and Linda Budgell for praying, singing and visiting. Sheila Lomond for the many hours you helped me and Mom, you came at a moments notice to be there while family was on the way. Our church families for your thoughts and prayers, you’ve all been our rock and we thank you all. Even with broken hearts, we are overwhelmed and thankful to all. We will be receiving family and friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake, NL on Thursday, August 11<sup>th</sup>, 2016 from 2 -4 pm and 7 – 9 pm and Friday, August 12<sup>th</sup>, 2016 from 10 -12pm. The funeral service will take place at the Salvation Army Church, 20 Church Street, Deer Lake, NL at 3 pm with Major Henry Bingle officiating. Interment to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy may be made to the Salvation Army Building Fund or a Charity of One’s Choice.</p>
