Corner Brook, NL It is with Great Sadness that the family of the late Wilfred Burton announce his passing on Saturday, September 26th, 2004 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 91 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 68 years Hannah (nee Power). Children: Marjorie (Wilbur) Brake, Barbara (Clarence) Billard, Bill (Nora), Ed (Barbara), Lorne (Betty), Marie (Charles) Baldwin, Norma (Wayne) Barsi and Gary (Myrtle). 19 Grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, sister Julia Burden and brother Wilson. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by predeceased by his granddaughter Paula Burton, sisters Marjorie and Mercedes, brothers Victor, Peter, Charlie and Cator. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street today, Monday from hours of 2-4 & 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th at 2:00 p.m. from the Memorial United Church in Curling with Rev. Mary Brenson officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Memorial United Church Fund or to a charity of ones choice.
